Seeing Heather take on the challenge of taking a picture everyday makes me want to do something similar. I don't want to be taking pictures everyday since that would probably leave us fighting over the camera but I want to challenge myself creatively. Anyone have some ideas of what I could do?
Ruth and I talked about this a bit this evening. We thought that perhaps you could work on making a scrapbook on all your foster pets. You have alot of photos and I know you have the talent so we thought it might be something you could have fun with. Maybe devoting a page or more to each furry friend and maybe a bit on the forever family they went to. Idea anyway. You might even be inspired to write a small poem or short story from time to time on the animals you have cared for. Huggs!!!
ReplyDeleteOne things that I had in mind that you might try is coming up with one phrase every day. It can be short, long, funny, sad, rhyme or not. Whatever you want it to be. And that would be your phrase for the day. =)
ReplyDeleteThis way, you have something to write, something to blog about and could come up with a story. Just a thought.
I was thinking you could just make it a year of creativity. Instead of focusing on one thing, you might try expanding your creativity in general. There are lots of things you like to do that are creative, sewing, scrapbooking, writing, drawing, and other arts and crafts. You could work on something different each day and then post and share photos of what you did. That would keep it from getting boring too, cause you'd always have something new to work on. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea Mairead!!!
ReplyDeleteI like all your ideas. I really should make a scrapbook with all the picture of my fosters. I've been doing it for a year so I'm sure I've got quite a few. I also like the idea of improving my writing skill by writing more frequently. Looking at it in the long run as a 365 day project, I think I want include both of those things as well as other creative endeavors. I think I want to embark on a year of creativity.
